Don't Mess With JodieThis movie star’s Jodie Foster as Erica Bain. Erica is a New York City Radio talk show personality whose fiancé is savagely killed and she is brutally beaten up in a Central Park Mugging.
Although she tries to pull herself together after the mugging, she quickly realizes that she can’t and decides to do what every victim wants to do after they have been mugged; go kill the bad guys.
From this point on the movie becomes a female Charles Bronson, Death Wish remake. Erica becomes a New York vigilante who is determined to kill muggers. So in the wee hours of the morning she patrols New York for muggers and anyone that tries to take her purse gets a bullet in their head.
What I didn’t like about the movie was that it was just a rip off from Death Wish. A better name for the movie would have been Death Woman.
What I did like about this movie was this quote “There is no going back, to that other person, that other place. This thing, this stranger, she is all you are now.”
This Movie is worth seeing on Video only.
Out of a 10, I give it a 7.1.
